Everyone has a so-called "happy place" that they go to when they're sad, lonely, depressed, or feel alone, etc. It' doesn't necessarily have to be a place. A happy place can be playing video games in your home, going for a walk around the seawall near your house, listening to music, reading a book, meditating by yourself, or having a deep and meaningful conversation with your favorite person in the world to talk to.

Everyone's happy place is meant to be a place to rest and relax and be in tune with your thoughts or feelings or sharing them with someone else. If you don't have a happy place where you can be by yourself to rest and relax such as a gym or the beach then it's time to find one.

If you don't want to go somewhere such as a yoga class, the spa or the tennis courts then you can always build your own happy place in your home or office. If all you're looking for is a place to get away to and be with your thoughts then you might want to consider building a den or garage shack as a place to find yourself. It can be hard finding those moments throughout the day in which you get to be alone with yourself.

Don't let that bother you though. Focus your attention on creating and building a space that you can use to take you to your happy place. Just remember that everyone gets happy for a different reason or happy in a different location. Your happy place is meant to be place for you and only you, for the most part. You can't just corner off a room in your bedroom and say that's your happy place. It just doesn't work that way.

If you build your own area, make sure it caters to you and only you. If you love football then decorate your happy place with some football themed decorations. If your happy place really needs to be a place where you have to relax then put in a massage chair that will have you staying in your happy place all day long. The possibilities are endless.
